At SHORT STAY (1-800-447-2178) Navy Recreation Area on Lake Moultrie we hear the catfishing is good and will even get better as water temperature increases. We should see good crappie fishing this month. Bass should start to move shallow around the full moon. They now have an expanded fishing tackle department with probably the largest selection of bass fishing tackle on the lake. They carry Lucky Craft lures, Senko’s, Rico’s, Gambler’s worms, Zoom, and many other name brands. They carry all kinds of live bait, plus other baits for fishing.
